INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA PURSUANT TO LEGISLATIVE DECREE NO.196/2003 AND ARTICLE 13 OF REGULATION (EU) 2016/679

MetaCometa APS, is committed to protecting the privacy of its users (hereinafter “data subjects”) in compliance with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (“GDPR”) as the Data Controller.

Methods of processing personal data

Personal data may be processed both manually and electronically or telematically in a manner that guarantees its security and confidentiality, including by third parties who carry out processing operations on behalf of the owner after being designated by the latter as the Data Controller. MetaCometa APS contractually defines the limits of operation of the designated controllers, with respect to the data they may process.

Purposes of the processing for which the data are intended

MetaCometa APS to spread knowledge and raise awareness of the organization’s specific activities and purposes.

The institution processes your data for the following purposes:

– Telematic newsletter subscription

– Sending communications and materials for commercial, promotional and fundraising purposes for activities carried out by the charity)

The provision of data for these purposes is optional and the legal basis is your free consent. However, failure to provide the requested data will result in the impossibility of sending the communications and/or materials in question. The data will be processed until consent is revoked and/or the right to object is exercised.
In addition, the forms to be filled out – either online or downloadable – (e.g., regular donation form) provide for a consent to the processing of Data that is compulsory in case it is strictly necessary to fulfill the request of the Data Subject or optional in all other cases.

MetaCometa APS acquires the data provided by data subjects, either in person, through postal and telematic services or through computer and telephone tools, in compliance with the rules of confidentiality and security provided by the GDPR and the law. The processing is done with both paper, electronic and telematic tools.

The Data affected by the aforementioned processing will not be subject to any dissemination outside the Data Controller and the Managers appointed by them. The Data may be processed for the aforementioned purposes by companies and/or professionals and/or third party suppliers to whom the communication of the Data is necessary for purposes related, inherent and/or instrumental to the processing.

Optional provision of data

Apart from what is specified for navigation data, the user is free to provide personal data if requested in special sections of the site. Failure to provide them may make it impossible to obtain what has been requested. The consequences of any refusal to provide personal data are indicated in this notice for each treatment.

Data retention times

Data are kept as long as necessary for the processing and in any case no longer than 10 years after the cessation of the processing. Data are always processed in full compliance with the principle of proportionality of processing, according to which all personal data and the various methods of their processing must be relevant and not excessive in relation to the purposes pursued.

Rights exercisable by users

As a data subject, you are granted the following rights under the GDPR:

– the right to object to the processing of your data for purposes of commercial information or for sending advertising or direct sales material, or for market research.
