Biennial of Hospitality

Metacometa Association enthusiastically participated in the first edition of the Biennial of Welcoming (whose title is “The Art of Welcoming”), the important national event organized by the National Forum of Family Associations. A crucial event, held in Milan on November 3 and 4, entirely dedicated to the themes of family welcoming, adoption and, in particular, Family Foster Care.

Metacometa, which has been involved for years in promoting and supporting foster care as an essential tool of solidarity and care for children in temporary difficulty, brought its valuable experience and the voice of its network to a prominent institutional and associational setting.

Representing the association were Cristina Adamo, Martina Osimani, and Serena Pavonello. Their participation underscored the importance of a professional, empathetic and well-structured approach to accompanying foster families and the children they take in.

Foster care, as reiterated during the Biennial, is an experience of beauty and mutual enrichment, a gesture of love that can transform the life of a minor while offering unexpected growth to the host. Metacometa continues its commitment so that the culture of welcoming will spread more and more in Italy.

Thanks to the National Forum of Family Associations for creating this platform for dialogue, which is essential to weaving together an increasingly strong and effective national network of solidarity.

Let’s take home ideas and the energy of a network that believes in the power of hospitality! Thank you to all participants.
